Reykjavik is a small city. Like, a really, really small city. So while this guide is officially called Three Days Away: Reykjavik, I’m actually expanding the remit to include places slightly further afield. In another departure from the norm, we’re going to be looking more at things to do than things to eat — Iceland isn’t the cheapest place to visit, and I survived on a diet comprised largely of hotdogs. (Which was no hardship; Icelandic hotdogs are AMAZING, and I will of course tell you where to find the best ones.) But while I loved my time in Iceland, and thought Reykjavik a great city, it’s a two-days-with-an-overnight place, not a multi-day destination. But who goes all the way to Iceland and stops in the city? Not my readers!
